Christmas Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Don't forget your furry friends this Christmas!

I recently stumbled upon an amazing website solely dedicated to dog treat recipes! There are even treats for that adorable bundle of fluff with putrid breath! This particular recipe requires so few ingredients and was very simple to make. Try throwing some of these in Spot's stocking, and I'm sure he'll be begging for more! (...or ripping up everyone's else's stockings just in case he missed some...)

Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 cup milk
1 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until well-combined.

Knead into a workable, but sturdy dough and roll onto a floured surface.

Using fun Christmas cookie cutters, cut out several shapes.

The dough yields approximately 30 doggie treats! Place treats on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes. For best results, turn biscuits over about half-way through the baking process. It simply provides a one-side-burnt-insurance.

Adorable, right? I've never made these before, but I think they turned out pretty well.

Well...except for a few...

Poor Frosty. Anyway, don't forget to let your cuddly critter lick the measuring cups! Obviously, mine didn't even have to be canine to enjoy the remains!

Enjoy with life.
