--My husband and I just finished a huge decorating project we've been working on for a couple months now. We are headed to a wedding this evening. I woke up at 6 a.m. just to make breakfast and coffee and get things in the house going. So basically, I feel like celebrating!
However, there is a disclaimer--
--I do not feel like typing recipes. (Sorry!)
But I'd love to post pictures (as per my Wednesday usual) and jabber about them on the way down.
Sautéed tomatoes, red onions, and green peppers in preparation for a penne tomato sauce. I love all the colors!!
Mandarin Orange Salad with Orange vinaigrette...So fresh and delicious. I got the recipe from Taste of Home's Contest Winning Annual Recipes 2006. I'm seriously in love with those books. I've already tried four recipes from them in the last 48 hours!
The puzzle my grandparents gave us for our first anniversary--finally completed! So cute with the little bride and groom and everything... (just don't look at all the Christmas clutter on the other end of the table...yikes.)
Some pictures from our recent painting expedition. We thought the sage green would complement the dark wood and go well with our furniture, which will eventually be more than ladders.
I received this cute little egg poacher in my stocking for Christmas! I wasn't really sure how to use it at first, so my first try, though tasty, didn't look so pretty. Then I read up : http://www.ehow.com/how_8414145_use-silicone-egg-poachers.html and feel much better about my next poached egg.
Yum.
I think I've finally run out of both photos and words. Oh wait...I never run out of words.
Have a wondrous Wednesday!
